First, you'll want to make sure you are running the latest version of Anaconda Navigator. We recommend doing it via your terminal. Open your terminal application and enter the following:
conda update anaconda-navigator
Enter 'y' when it asks Proceed ([y]/n)?
With Anaconda Navigator open, press Command + R (or control + R if you are on Windows). This should load the latest version of Navigator on your desktop.
Within Navigator, navigate to the 'Environments' section, located on the left hand side. You should see your environments here.
To back up an environment, select the environment you'd like to upload to Anaconda Cloud and select Backup. If you don't have an environment, you can create a new one by clicking on the Create button on the bottom.
Next, simply assign it a name and proceed (this name will be what is listed in your Cloud portal)! If you are not already signed in with your Anaconda Cloud account, you may sign in using your credentials when prompted.
Finally, you can see that it is uploaded into your Anaconda Cloud account by navigating to your Subscriptions in your profile drop-down menu at the top right corner on Cloud.
On the left hand side, navigate to 'Environments'. You should see your newly backed up environment listed!
